JUMBO had speed from the beginning and disposed of STOP GAP to take command on the far turn, drew clear, saved ground, but had to be placed to pressure at the end. RUHE lacked speed toce with the early pace, went to the outside for the drive and closed with a rush. BERNWOOD was never far back and responded well when called upon to finish stoutly. SICKLES IMAGE raced forwardly from the beginning, made a determined bid in the stretch and continued gamely. ABBE STING trailed the field until reaching the final turn, then closed a good gap on the outside. ROYAL MUSTANG, closer up than usual early, could not engage the leaders. STOP GAP had good early speed, but weakened. GRASS FIRE showed a gobd effort. BUGLEDRUMS could not improve his position. TO MARKET was not prominent. VINCENT X. F -had some early speed.
