Oedipus Given Top Weight Of 156 for Indian River DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., June 28. — Mrs. Ogden Phipps Oedipus, runner-up in the recent Georgetown, has been assigned top weight of 156 pounds for next Tuesdays running of the 0,000 added Indian River Steeplechase Handicap. His assignment represents a two-pound decrease from his Georgetown weight, while Rokeby Stables Crooning Wind, winner of the Georgetown in course record time, picks up seven pounds to carry 137 pounds. Kent Millers Elkridge, the 13-year-old who is the worlds leading money-winner among the steeplechase thoroughbreds, and who already boasts five victories in the Indian River, must carry 147 pounds, as must Montpeliers Sea Legs.
