Letellier and executive vice-president Anthony Pelleteri won the confidence of horsemen here by upping the daily purse schedule as the season went on, and they promise that there will be no let- j down during the coming meeting. Stakes were raised on short notice, and several rich events were added to the race program. Letellier and Pelleteri assure all horsemen that this policy will continue — and purses will be increased as quickly as revenue makes it possible.
