STICKER, in close attendance of the pace on the rail early, came out leaving the turn and got the nod over EDNAS CHOICE. The latter established a clear lead on the backstretch and gradually increased her advantage, held on well when challenged and just failed. MOP UP, slew to gain stride, closed with a rush between horses. LANDLORD had a rough trip early, obtained room entering the stretch, but lacked a rallv. PETERUN trailed early and went ud between horses with a belated bid. YOUR SUN had to be steadied when iackinq room on the inside. NARVIKO*tired. MAYES RILEY . lacked room between horses early. CAIFERO lacked early speed, ran to the extreme outside leaving the turn, moved up quickly when straightened for the drive and outgamed MISS CAROLINA. The latter was carried out by the top one on the turn, went up to be on nearly even terms for the lead in the stretch and just missed. WOODSIDE, outrun early, went up between horses in the drive, but lacked a menacing rally. INCHCAPELLA had no excuse. IGHTAM, away fast, lacked speed to remain prominent, then went by tired horses in the drive. KADER was hard hustled to be forwardly placed and weakened. MAGIC MOMENT tired suddenly after making the pace until the stretch. SAILS was outrun. HOLLY RIDGE dwelt at the start, was rushed through on the rail to be prominent and quit. SIRAD, eased back and brought to the rail entering the turn, went up on the inside in the stretch to challenge, escaped trouble in the roughly run ran end proved best over WARPATH. The latter went through on the inside when the leaders went wide on the turn, veered in sharply to avoid TOP STEP approaching the furlong post, but held on determinedly until the end. FIRST REFUSAL bore out and ran wide rounding the turn, took up in the stretch when the jam occurred and closed with good courage. TOP STEP went into command on the turn and had a clear advantage when he bolted to the outside approaching the furlong marker and was disqualified. ZE PIPPIN was forced very wide by FIRST REFUSAL. ARGAN dropped back when bearing out and going wide on the turn, came again between horses in the stretch and faltered. IGNITE was forced wide. DEMOCLES had no excuse. WHITHER came to the rail when clear midway of the turn, swung out slightly leaving the turn and held on stubbornly to withstand PRINCE BOURBON. The latter, never far back, came to the outside for the drive and closed strongly. ELIAS G. was on nearly even terms for the lead for the final quarter mile and missed in a sharp effort. LISMORE PRINCE, with the pace on the rail early, dropped back when bearing out, swung wide leaving the turn, then forced his way between the leaders in the final sixteenth. FORELOCK had no excuse in a creditable performance. MURAT saved ground to threaten mildly and tired. DRUIDS LYRIC tired in the final quarter mile. FIFTH RACE ABOUT 1 3-4 MILES hurdles. CAMPANILLEO, far back until the final turn, closed with a rush. CAMPOS, reserved early, closed with good courage. MOSSY FACE had no excuse.
