Seek to Levy Daily Tax ALBANY, Calif., June 28.— The Albany-City tny Council has started proceedings to to ]evy a tax of 00 a day on the Golden Gate ate Fields race track, it was revealed here when len the Council passed such a measure, 3-2, on on the first reading. Councilman John Long-aker ig- testified that the city of Albany received only 7,000 in revenue from the the track last year as compared to the 27,000 300 received from Santa Anita Park by the the city of Arcadia. The track has threatened led to take the tax fight to -court if necessary. xy.
