Dave Emery in TV Debut MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 28.— Trainer Dave Emery, top conditioner of Monmouth Parks 1950 racing season, makes his eastern debut on television this evening when he is the guest of the prominent sports editor, Jimmy Powers, on station WPIX at 6:45 p. m. The Jerry McCarthy Stable trainer will discuss the days when he rode Black Gold, one of the turfs most glamorous thoroughbreds. Emery was astride the great son of Black Toney on the ill-fated day when he broke his leg at the New Orleans Fair Grounds.
