Buys Glen Riddle Farm DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del.. June 28 — Walter If. Jeffords, for years one of Americas outstanding thoroughbred owners, revealed here today that he had acquired the 1,300-acre Glen Riddle Farm in Berlin, Md. The Glen Riddle property, when owned by the late Samuel D. Riddle, was the training grounds for Man o"War. War Admiral and other greats of the turf. The thoroughbreds which campaign for Mr. and Mrs. Jeffords have been quartered and conditioned over the Glen Riddle grounds for many seasons. Purchase price was 85,000.
