Six Arrested on Narcotics Charge on West Coast HOLLYWOOD PARK, Inglewood. Calif., June 28. — Six persons, including two Hollywood Park exercise boys, a jockey and a jockeys agent, were arrested last night by sheriff detectives on a narcotics count. Booked at the Lennox Substation were Alvin Buckelew, 23, an exercise boy; Robert Patterson, 28, an exercise boy; Bill Cum-mings, 28, a jockey, and Mervevel Tucker, 36, a jockeys agent. Also apprehended were Joseph Kirkwood, 19, a shoe repair man, and Joseph Nunez, 23, a laborer. A citizen who became suspicious of the way one of the exercise boys rode horses in the morning started the investigation, which resulted in the detectives making raids which uncovered quantities of marijuana in the residence of each man. with the exception of Nunez.
