Delaware Stake Books Out DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., May 23. Racing secretary-handicapper J. Gilbert Haus has released the stake books for the Delaware Park meeting which gets under way next Thursday. The book lists the nominations for 14 stakes 10 on the flat and four steeplechases and also contains an alphabetical index of the nominees, in addition to other pertinent information. A total of 976 nominations were received for the stakes, whose total added money this season has been increased to a record 40,000. The 0,000 added New Castle Handicap for fillies and mares on July 5 again heads the special events.
