MATTIE GIRL, forwardly placed from the start, saved ground entering the stretch and, responding to urging, disposed of the leaders and won going away; BROWNSTOWN raced evenly to the stretch, made a good bid entering the stretch, then was unable to withstand the top one. LIBERTY A., never far back, assumed command near the stretch, retained a short lead when settled for the drive, then faltered during the Tast sixteenth. KIBBY F. lacked early speed and disliked the muddy track. SWEEP BOLT raced prominently for a half mile, then weakened. FLAG DRILL began fast, but bore out during the last three-eighths mile. ALL IS ON was never dangerous. CORKTOWN was unable to handle the muddy going. MISS CROMA was through early. KITTY WHISKERS showed nothing. TRIPLE FLIGHT, forwardly placed from the start, raced by HERA LOT entering the stretch and drew clear under brisk handling. HERA LOT assumed command at the start, made the pace to the stretch, but was unable to hold the winner, although not under strong "pressure to best the others. TASK FLEET raced evenly and had no mishap. SHERRY L. was unable to threaten the top ones and had no excuse. LUCKY GUESS was outrun. SUNNYBROOK SUE, next to the inner rail and in the deepest going to the stretch, failed to rally when taken out for the drive. ELI COOKIE disliked the muddy track. SHASTA L was never dangerous. GWEN FACSIMILE was far back throughout. PRINCESS W., rank during the post parade, showed nothing in the running. TUNE TIME raced greenly. PLASTIC MISS unseated her rider during the post parade and galloped a slow quarter mile, broke slowly and never entered serious contention. Scratched-56443 Senator C. The latter lacked early speed, but saved ground while improving position to the stretch, finished willingly under punishment, but could not get to the winner. HORSEY forced LITTLE XS pace to the stretch, then faltered. NITRO FIRE was outrun. BOLDGER raced wide entering the stretch. MISS PLACE disliked the muddy track. BOMBAST tired after racing forwardly placed for a half mile. BASLA was never prominent. BEAUTYS TIGER showed nothing. TERRYS CANE, reserved to the final quarter, was In the middle of the track for the drive and finished determinedly in a good effort. TRAMORE BAY lacked early speed, but made up ground during the last three-eighths mile. BOWLED OVER assumed command at once, made the pace to the stretch, then gave way. BLUE DAZE could not keep up. POLLYS DELAY raced nearest SO GRAND until inside the stretch, was unable to stay with the latter and could not withstand ALMENOW. CAJAC raced well to the stretch, then drifted out while tiring. DUSTLIGHT was never prominent BROAD CROSS failed to stay after displaying early foot. BATED BREATH raced evenly for a half mile, was taken out slightly for the stretch run and closed gamely, but could not get to the top one. SICKLES IMAGE was hustled to the front early, engaged DIXIE FLYER to the final furlong, then faltered and probably needed her race. BEE LEE TEE was unable to better his position when set down for the drive. WILL YOU DANCE began fast, but dropped out of serious contention immediately after the start.
