Joiner Scores Surprise Accounting at Camden Moses Out Easter Morn Under Bobby Permanes Good Handling GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 23. F. A. Joiner ran the six furlongs ver a fast strip in 1:12 and paid 6.80. The good weather was about the only re-ieeming part of the day for the form f ol-owers, although they did manage to score vith their second choices in the second and hird events. Mrs. H. H. Hechts Dry Fly and P. C. aylors Hankie, co-choices in the fifth ace, finished fifth, and seventh, xespec-ively. Dry Fly ran into trouble early and hen could not get up, while Hankie was inable to reach the front and quit. Joiner was always a threat while saving :round, and he took over from Remem-rance under punishment in the last fur-ong. The five-year-old War Relic gelding hen held on tenaciously under continued urging and managed to last over Easter -lorn, who had been racing next to last efore launching his stretch rally. A first-time starter took over in the ipening race, with the winning Santas Girl laying a luscious 1.80 that ripened into , ,49.20 Daily Double when Prisjoe Stables Prince Favor easily came home in he second race. Santas Girl defeated Mrs. feughan Flannerys Cuna under the per-uasion of jockey Logan Batcheller after a spirited stretch duel. She is a two-year-bld daughter of Psychic Bid and Santa, and raced under the colors of Mrs. C. A. Car-lino. Prince Favor, ridden by Charles Burr, was second choice for his sprint score and paid a straight ticket of .20. Another untried filly came out in the third race, for members of the weaker sex only, and carried the Jay Cee Farms" silks to an easy two and a half lengths tally. She was a three-year-old daughter of Blue Flyer Jean Muffins, named Miss Nimble. She stepped off the distance in front-running style under Bobby Permane to best the favored Gris Gris, owned by Mrs.W.M. Jeffords, while the public choice was not caught napping this time and they made her their second choice for a return of .20.
