HBPA Post to Higgins AK-SAR-BEN, Omaha, Nebr., May 23. Allen S. Higgins was elected vice-president of the western division of the HBPA at an election held Thursday in the office of the racing secretary. Higgins defeated L. O. Lane and M. R. Latimer. Newly elected committeemen include Guy Schultz, Tom Westrope, L. O. Lane, Earl Cowey, Omer Hall, James Herndon, Lee Bush, Ed Luther, M. R. Latimer and Bud Ray. W. C. Red-field, R. E. Stewart and Charles Mulaney supervised the counting of the ballots.
