Brandywine Handicap Lures Nominations of Thirty-Fiye DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del., May 22. The 0,000 Brandwine Handicap, second link in Delewares chain of three major handicaps for three-year-olds and upward, attracted 35 nominations for its renewal on May 31 the first Saturday of the meeting, which opens May 29. Last years fourteenth running of the mile and a sixteenth fixture resulted in the most exciting finish of the Delaware meeting. Cochise, and Post Card reaching the wire in a dead heat. Cochise, who also numbered Delawares Sussex Handicap among his 1951 conquests, is now standing at stud in Kentucky.
