Skin Graft for Elmer Wright CRANWOOD PARK, Warrensville Heights, Ohio, May 23. Jockey Clarence Wright reports that his brother, Elmer, is back at the Doctors Hospital in New York for a skin graft to his leg. Elmer was the victim of an unfortunate accident at the Butler County Fair Grounds, Hamilton, Ohio, race track last season. As a result of a spill at that meeting it was necessary to have two operations. The last to amputate his leg just below the knee. Elmer is reportedly doing well and when released from the New York hospital will return to a Virginia hospital operated by the state as a rehabilitation center for amputees to. teach the use of artificial appendages.
