SANTAS GIRL was repeatedly urged in pursuit of CUNA, collared that one on the stretch turn and then gradually established her winning margin. CUNA began quickly, saved all possible ground and weakened only slightly. MISS KNOWLEDGE, unable to contend early, was taken to the middle of the track entering the stretch and finished with a rush. CARLTON MISS was well placed, but lacked a rally. BUCKY C. was outrun. FAST JEEP faltered. MORGAN CALHOUN began slowly. PRINCE FAVOR was nicely rated" off the early pace, closed willingly in the final run, quickly disposed of the tiring leaders and won with something left. VINELAND was hustled along while racing with the first flight,- reached the front on the stretch turn, but readily gave way to the winner. LOIS CHEER raced between horses throughout, but closed well near the end. ISOSCELES was hard pressed while showing speed and quit. PRICKLY began sluggishly, moved up fast on the final turn, but could not carry his speed. MARINIKIN faltered. COUNT OFF was outrun and saved ground to improve position in the stretch. MISS NIMBLE immediately sprinted into a long lead, held sway easily and was being taken in hand at the finish. GRIS GRIS was lightly pushed to reach closer contention, responded begrudgingly to heavy punishment in the drive, but was easily best of the others. NONA BELLE was an .alert factor and finished well. EXODUS raced in closest pursuit of the winner without menacing and weakened. FIDDLES was not a threat. HADABELLE lacked her usual speed from the gate. FROLIC was outrun. CORINTH had the most speed from the beginning, widened on the field on the final turn and had enough left to hold BLUE FEDORA clear. The latter, probably best, broke in a tangle, then was taken up sharply when blocked at the far turn, came between horses to find free racing for the drive and closed willingly. PAS DE CALAIS raced prominently placed in an even effort. ROZS FOLLY was taken up sharply at the break, entered contention on the inside after reaching stride and gave a fair effort. FIRST SWING faltered. COYOTE had no excuse. HAT CHECK GIRL was done early. MR. ACE dropped back after the start and was pulled up lame. REMEMBRANCE was lightly steadied while closest to the pace, took command entering the stretch and weakened under punishment FIGHTING MAD had a rough trip, but came to the outside for the finish and closed well. GARIBALDI was outrun and raced behind horses into the stretch, then could not get up. REPRODUCTION failed to respond. MOTORIST could not outsprint PICTURE CARD and quit. FRATERNAL faltered early. ONE MISS raced along freely while repulsing challenges from BLUE RHYMER, attempted to meet the challenge of the winner, but faltered abruptly in the last yards. SINGING BEAUTY closed determinedly under punishment in the final run. BLUE RHYMER was hard hustled while vying with ONE MISS for the pace and faltered in the last furlong. TROJAN WAR came from far back while saving ground on the turn, then weakened. DELOVE was outrun. LITTLE LESS gave a dull effort.
