Michigan HBPA Committee Holds First Weekly Meeting DETROIT, Mich., May 23. Harry W. Lindy, vice-president of the Michigan Division of the Horsemens Benevolent and Protective Association, announced that the first regular weekly Thursday morning, meeting of the divisional executive com-" mittee was held in the new HBPA offices in the administration building. Those in attendance were: Mrs. Audrey Gabel, secretary-treasurer, and the following, committeemen, Tom Graham, Henry Johnston, Charles Kranz, A. Lamoureux, Mark Leach, Charles White", George White,, and Ray Grundy. After the business session, the group adjourned to Masons restaurant for lunch and entertained the following guests, Robert Leavitt, general manager of the MRA; Edgar "Doc" Greene, MRA publicity direc-: tor, and Ray Carroll, head of the Michigan mutuel clerks organization.
