Officers, Three Directors Re-Elected at Narragansett PAWTUCKET, R. I., June 17.— All the officers and three directors of the Narragansett Racing Association, Inc., were reelected yesterday at the annual meeting of stockholders in the clubhouse at Narragansett Park. Only seven stockholders other than officers and directors attended the meeting at which 255,476 shares of the stock, which totals 350,000 among approximately 1,800 owners, were represented by proxy. The officers reelected are : James E. Doo-ley, president; Charles A. Connors, chairman of the board of directors; Albert H. Daly, vice-president; Michael J. Regan, treasurer and comptroller; Charles E. Potter, assistant treasurer; Raymond J. Mc-JMahon, secretary and general counsel. The directors reelected are: James J. Fisher, James E. Dooley and R. J. Mc-Mahon. There being no other business the meeting was adjourned and the directors went into executive session. At this meeting, James H. Doorley, of Providence; R. I., was named to fill the un expired term of the late John J. Orr, which has one year to run. Doorley, an important stockholder, brings to the board a wealth of business and racing experience. He is treasurer and director of the United Transit Co., of Rhode Island; treasurer and director of the construction firm of Fanning and Doorley and a director of the Hanley Brewing Co. of Providence. He was state steward at Narragansett Park from 1935 to 38, then deputy state steward 1940 through 1950, when pressure of business forced him to resign. Charles A. Connors, chairman of the board, returned from a three-month vacation in France and Spain, to be present at todays meetings.
