HARBIL, close up from the start, found an opening on the inside around the far turn to become a factor and, continuing next to the rail, took command after entering the stretch and stood a hard drive gamely. KAY DOODY was not a serious contender until the final eighth was reached, then closed with a belated burst of speed. BORN TO WIN was never too far away and went well to the finish. THANK YOU SIR was closer than usual in the first part, then went wide in the stretch, but loomed up entering the final sixteenth and appeared to hang near the finish. LUCKY CODINE tired.
