Commission Rulings Reported to Daily Racing Form LEXINGTON, Ky., June 17.— The office of the secretary of the National Association of State Racing Commissioners received the following rulings from the Florida State Racing Commission under date of June 6, 1952: "The suspension of Tom Jolley, trainer, by the stewards of Sunshine Park on February 15, 1952, is modified to read, Suspended for a period of six months, beginning as of February 15, 1952. "Douglas Stringer, groom, is suspended indefinitely for violation of Rule No. 508 The use of hypodermic needles is hereby forbidden, except when done by a veterinarian licensed by the State of Florida . . " The following was received from AHen F. Chappius, secretary of the Louisiana State Commission, on June 10, 1952: "Temporary extension 128 days apprentice allowance granted jockey Harold Acres by the Louisiana State Racing Commission in accordance with our rule of racing 257-A. This time is for serious illness because of spill at Fair Grounds race track January 5, 1952. Formal approval of allowance granted will be made part of permanent record at meeting to be held on or before September 1. Ohio State Racing Commission stewards at River Downs race track, Cincinnati, Ohio, where Acres is presently riding also this day notified of this ruling. Our commissioners unavailable for meeting at this time."
