Forty-Two Remain Eligible For New Jersey Futurity MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 17. — A total of 42 New Jersey-breds paid the final New Jersey Futurity fee and remain eligible for the July 9, renewal of the homebred classic. It represents one of the largest bands of potential starters in the modern-day history of the race, and evidences the mushrooming breeding industry throughout the state. Among the probables is the two-year-old filly, High Hatter, by Opera Hat- out of Expendable, jointly owned by W. J. Cunningham and Amory L. Haskell, president of the Monmouth Park Jockey Club. Haskells interest stems from the fact that he owns the youngsters dam, having purchased her from Cunningham. She now has a suckling at her side by Knave High.
