June 23. — Seven well bred two-year-olds will be among the offerings at the disper-j sal sale of William Goetz, to be held in the paddock at Hollywood Park the afternoon of Monday, June 30. The movie executive will sell 18 head. comprising all of his racing stable and breeding stock, at the vendue to be con-j ducted by Fasig -Tipton Co. of New York. Included in the juveniles to go into the sales-ring is a strapping colt called Cor- nerstone, who is a full brother to the famed Solidarity. This youngster is by Alibhai out of the fine-producing mare Jerrybuilt. Another youngster is a colt by the Australian sire, Royal Gem II. of Manatella. This fellow, named Bedizened, is a half-j brother to Salmagundi, winner of the San-I ta Anita Derby in 1948. Three fillies of racing age Big Hit, by Reading II., Helenus by Priam II., and Tittle Tattle, by Roman — are in the consignment. Tittle Tattle, in particular, is expected to command the attention of buyers. Her dam, Tattle Tale, is a daughter of the famed Potheen, producer of such sterling horses as Bewitch. Pot oLuck, Lot Luck and Theen.
