Ontario Racing Scene Moves To Hamilton for Summer Meet HAMILTON, Ont., June 23.— The Ontario Racing caravan moves on to Hamilton where the first summer meeting of the Hamilton Jockey Club begins tomorrow and runs through to July 1, Dominion Day. Judging -by the marked successes of the Toronto race tracks, managing director J. J. Conway and his able aide, Harjy Miller, have ample reason to believe the impending seven day session will be the best enjoyed by the club in some years. Wtih better than 1,000 thoroughbreds to fill the various events, racing secretary Anthony Simms has fashioned for the meeting, the sport at Hamilton will be on a par with Toronto ovals. In addition to the ,000 added Hamilton Handicap, a run of a mile and a sixteenth for three-year-olds and upwards, other fixtures set for decision at the meeting are the Appas Tappas, Hamilton Spectator and Dominion Day Handicaps, and the Dundas, I Wenthworth and Brant Inn purses.
