Return Meet of Roman Sandal And Bless Me Lady Likely RIVER DOWNS, California, Ohio, June 23. — Speculation ran high at the Cincinnati oval today when it was learned that the chance of a return meeting between Roman Sandal and Bless Me Lady, the two sprint champions of the Ohio circuits, was likely the latter part of this week. Bless Me Lady, holder of the six-furlong track record at Beulah Park, decisioned the son of Roman — Alaport last week, holding a length and a half lead at the end of a three-quarters race. Trainer Doug Davis, Jr., was eager to atone for this defeat but had already made plans to ship his charge to the Chicago area in view of the fact that there was not another race in the book for his racer. He now has a chance to gain revenge. Connections for the Bronnenberg filly expressed a willingness to face Roman Sandal and seemed confident that the daughter of Bless Me — Lady Flight would continue to assert her "Indian sign" on him.
