Long Bow Prevails by Four Lengths at Suffolk Downs SUFFOLK DOWNS, East Boston, Mass., June 23. — Long Bow, a recent invader from New Jersey, sporting the silks of S. Segal, received a well judged ride from jockey Joe DeLucia and accounted for the best offering of todays featureless program at Suffolk Downs. The four-year-old Heliopolis colt held a four-length advantage over J. Tag-lionies Grand Demand at the end of the mile and and sixteenth event. Another length away, Kajo Stables Blue Thanks saved the minor award. With a brisk east wind prevailing and keeping the regulars from going to the beaches, the attendance was gratifying when 11,902 were on hand. The majority of the patrons backed Long Bow into favoritism and received .80. Claimed from a winning race at Garden State Park, Long Bow has been training at Narragansett Park and was vanned here for todays race.
