McGUIRE Staff Correspondent BEULAH PARK, Grove City, Ohio, May 13. — Seven of the better class sprinters quartered on the grounds have been as-j sembled to meet at six furlongs in the Tom Johnson Purse that tops tomorrows card here. The test is fashioned under allowance conditions and several of the entrants have been seen under silks at this session. Of these, C. W. Freemans Grand Pose is recommended by the excellent third that he turned in the other day at this distance. He was finishing stoutly to be beaten only a narrow margin for top honors and he appears to have an excellent chance to atone for that defeat. Another who finished third at last asking was Mrs. G. F. Posts Teddys Toy, who closed considerable ground in that outing to earn his placing. With more early speed he could prove troublesome. Gold Lust, who races for Mrs. J. L. and L. J. Knight, will be making his first local appearance, but the son of Easy Mon has been reported as training well and this competition may be within his limitation. Jr. Ireland, who races for C. Dean, and Deep Situation, from the stable of C. B. Hudson, have had races here but both fin-s ished unplaced and would have to show improvement to figure prominently in this dash. The field is completed by Mrs. H. Brad- leys Dusky Hill and L Boyers Choice Bits. , — .
