PASS, a sharp factor from the beginning, went to the front when ready and continued on gamely without urging. KINGS PARK closed with good energy, but was no match for the winner. CATALYST rallied too late to become an endangering factor. DUKET0WN, shuffled back slightly at the furlong marker, came again when clear. GET BUSY, outrun early, finished determinedly. P0LEM0S had no apparent mishap. DANGEROUS ALP quit, as did DELIBERATE. D0UBL AGAIN and SAM PARK lacked early foot. REPLYS IMAGE made a mild challenge during the stretch run, then faltered. HI-ROCK and AUCTION nver were dangerous. HEY WAIT and ACONITE were outrun. MILK BARON was unable to keep up. IRISHFORLUCK was through early. RUCHE, cleverly ridden, remained under light restraint during the early running, responded to pressure during the drive and, after* taking command, won drawing away. SMOCK held sway to the furlong marker under hustling tactics, tired thereafter and was unable to hold the winner. FRESH TONIC raced forwardly placed from the start, but was unable to improve her position when hard ridden through the late stages. TO THE FRONT failed to make up appreciable ground. POLO closed determinedly and perhaps would prefer a longer distance. EFCEE failed to attain the lead and tired. AMERICAN PILOT was unable to keep up. INDICT never threatened. STAR NYMPH was outrun. RAFFY raced wide. IMPERIAL LAMAR quit. PETITE LASSIE showed nothing. GENTLE STAR, fcrwardly placed from the start, tired when the real test came. FLEUR DE JOIE lacked the necessary rally. HALLEY, much used early, had little left. FINEST HOUR II. failed to stay.
