Mr. Prosecutor Tops Nine in Shively Larrieweil, Beanir 4 Dangerous Rivals Green Acres Farm Colt Won Bashford Manor Stakes Last Time Out at Churchill Downs CHURCHILL DOWNS, Louisville, Ky., May 13. — Green Acres Stock Farms Mr. Prosecutor, fleet bay son of Occupation anl Unmask, the recent victor in the Bashford Manor Stakes, heads a field of nine crack juveniles scheduled to clash here tomorrow afternoon in the five furlongs Shively Purse. Under the allowances of tomorrows feature, Mr. Prosecutor, successful in three of his five engamegents, will carry the highweight of 124 pounds, spotting each of his rivals considerable poundage. While Mr. Prosecutor undoubtedly will be the post time favorite he is to meet with some rather sturdy competition. Included in the Shively overnight band named to oppose him are such good youngsters as the Three W. Stables Larrieweil, 118; Mrs. Otto C. Neumanns fine filly, Beanir, 115, third in the Debutante Stakes on Derby Day; and Sam E. Wilson, Jr.s improving Tenacious Ace, 116 pounds. Also Grace Kosibas Detroit-owner Sub Factor, 116; Mrs. Nicholas Viscusis Dicks Future, 116, Clifford Mooers Dosta, 111, and the C. and K. Stables Rite-Speed, 115, and Thomas F. Devereux homebred Greater, 116 pounds. The apprentice allowance was claimed for Dosta, who will have the saddle services of youthful efficient Layton Risley. Forrest High on Occupation Colt Mr. Prosecutors races during his Kentucky campaign have been excellent and trainer Henry Forrest has expressed the opinion that the Occupation -sired colt is one of the best to come under his supervision in some time. Coming from off Top-Lations early pace in the Bashford Manor, the Green Acres Stock Farm two-year-old then put the former away before he defeated Everett Jr. by slightly more than a length on a fast but slightly dull course in :59%. Major opposition for Mr. Prosecutor probably will be furnished in the Shively by Larrieweil, a visitor to the Keeneland and Fair Grounds winners rings before he finished a strong fourth in the Bashford Manor. Milton Resseguet, popular New Orleans turfman, who developed the Greek Warrior colt, stated this morning that jockey Otto Grohs will handle his charge in the Thursday headliner. Beanir, a handsome filly the get of Nirgal and Bea Right, by Bimelech, gave a sharp performance behind Golly and Spy Magic in the Debutante and she is favor- , ably-weighted for the Shively. Previous to . her shipment to the Blue Grass state, the Neumann miss won two engagements in Florida and she was a close second to Wolf Gal, beaten but a head in the initial division of Hialeahs Juvenile Stakes, decided | at three furlongs in a sparkling :33%. Trainer H. H. "Pete" Battle announced that jockey Darrell Madden, one of the better journeyman reinsman in action at the Downs, will ride Beanir. Church Rides Dicks Future Kenneth Church is engaged for Dicks Future, successful in his last local outing; William McKinley Cook will be astride Sub Factor, and Johnny Adams is to ride Tenacious Ace, who had a rough trip in his most recent Churchill Downs start. Sherman Armstrong drew the Shively mount on Rite-Speed but no jockeys had been named at a late hour today for Greater and Mr. Prosecutor. Racing secretary-handicapper Lincoln G. Plaut arranged an interesting supporting card and officials at this historic South Louisville course expect to entertain a large crowd tomorrow, there being but three days of the spring meeting remaining. Post time for the initial event is set at the usual hour, 2:00 p.m.
