Colandos son of Heather Broom may make another of several heretofore unsuccessful return ap- pearances during the summer, but he is presently filling the rather ignominous role as a stable pony. The job as stable pony is not below a great horses dignity, how- ever, as proven by Armed, who began his career in that fashion, and the revered "Old Bones," Exterminator, who refused to live out his later years in a peaceful pad- dock.
