Sea Charger Shows Way In Irish 2,000 Guineas THE CURRAGH, County Kildare, Eire,, May 13 Reuters. — Sea Charger, a chestnut son of Royal Charger — Sea Flower, owned by Mr. M. F. Moloney, triumphed in the Irish 2,000 Guineas over eight furlongs here today. Sea Charger, urged by the Australian jockey, Rae Johnstone, landed home three-parts of a length ahead of the second favorite, Mrs. F. Vickermans Chamier. The English -trained challenger, King of the Tudors, a hot 4 to 7 favorite, was third, nearly a length off the runner-up in the field of 13. After the race. Tulyar, worlds most expensive thoroughbred bought by the Irish National Stud, was paraded on the track and attracted keen interest.
