New Jersey Notes GARDEN STATE PARK, Camden, N. J., May 19. Jimmy Raftery track photographer and popluar entertainer in his own right, is busy planning the production of the show to be given by the New England turf writers on June 20 at Suffolk Downs. Raftery will help produce and will take part in the presentation. Practice rounds for next Mondays golf tournament at the Woodbury Country Club were held yesterday on those links. The annual tournament is sponsored by the Garden State Racing Association and is open to all track personnel. Jim Devlin, chairman of the tournament committee, reported a large turnout yesterday, with the duffers anxious to get in a few trial swings before tee -off time next Monday. The big winner of the day was the USO. who received .00 for each participant. Fred H. Parks began his duties as steward at Garden State Park, replacing Calvin Rainey who left to fill commitments at Delaware Park. Trainer E. E. Russell has notified stall superintendent George Dolan that he is vanning in six head who race in the interests of Grandview Stable. The contingent, coming from Long Island, will arrive at Garden State Park tomorrow. Darby Dan Farm has shipped Clear Dawn to Belmont Park to perform in tomorrows running of the filly division of the National Stallion Stakes. The fleet maid also has been named for the 0,000 added Rancocas Stakes at Garden State Park on May 27. Jockey Walter B. Williams will depart tonight to ride the Heliopolis youngster in the Belmont fixture.
