CEDAR LANE was lightly reserved vying with ANTHONY V., put that one away when ready and drew out handily. ANTHONY C. began alertly, could not stay with the winner in the drive, but was clearly best of the others. WATCH IT GROW raced into contention from the outside early, but lacked a rally. MISS MARILEE, outrun to the stretch, found sufficient room in the drive and closed willingly. PAGE PUG weakened. GUIDED ROCKET improved position while saving ground. IRWIN W. was outrun. FLYING WEATHER saved ground while outrun and closed fast in the stretch drive. DIDAPPER, unable to contend racing Detween horses, came to the outside in the final stages and closed fast. PHARAS BEAUTY broke slowly, was taken to the inside and steadily made up ground in the drive. COLONEL PHIL was hard ridden in pursuit of the winner and faltered. MAIJO was not a factor. CURRENT NEWS could not keep up racing on the outside. NERVE faltered. RUGGED BOY was cutrun and lost ground on the outside. LAUREL SPRINGS immediately opened a long lead, raced along easily into the final furlong and suddenly faltered. MIELAISON broke in a tangle, came to the inside at the head of the stretch and closed willingly. HOT PILOT raced prominently placed and held on well. HOOP WISE gave an even effort. ELMOS CHOICE raced forwardly on the outside, challenged the leaders on the stretch turn and gained the decision after a prolonged drive. COTTON GINNY, rated within easy striking distance, wrested a short command under punishment next to the rail in the drive and just failed to lasL SILK GUEST was intermittently urged setting the pace, held on well when challenged, but gave way near the end. BOOTS HAVEN rallied mildly on the first turn, but was not gaining at the end. OUR JESTER was outdistanced early. FAIR TRIAD quit. DORIENNE could not reach the pace early and quit.
