DRY RUN was never far back from the pace and moved with determination on the outside nearing the stretch turn, then raced wide on the turn, nut closed steadily to catch BAYBROOK in the last sixteenth. POMACE was never too far away and also lost ground in the stretch, but finished well. JOE GRAVES dropped back after breaking well, but closed up strongly in the stretch. BAYBROOK cut out a good pace io the going and only weakened in the last sixteenth. RED CHARGER was prominent to the last eighth, then began to weaken. JET FLEET and ROYAL MUSTANG were badly outrun. CROSS RING and CAJAC had some early speed. WAR ANTIQUE was hard held for six furlongs, then came steadily on the outside and, although bothered when JANES GAL bore out in the front of him in the stretch, caught her on the outside nearing the end to win going away. JANES GAL got through on the inside of CUTTING EDGE on the far turn to take command but weakened and bore out in the stretch. NIKOH BABY trailed early but was going well at the finish. RED SAM moved up to catch BEAMING LIGHT nearing the stretch turn, then drew out slightly, but bore out badly in the stretch and, although well in front coming to~ the end, was being hustled. HABERDASHERY trailed the field in the early stages and went wide while making his move, but was going strongly at the end. BEAMING LIGHT drew into a long lead on the backstretch, but weakened in the run home. RIOT was close enough early and had no excuse. THE BLUE MISS tired. The others were outpaced.
