T Cerise Reine Arrival at Delaware First Stake Horse j In Track Quarters Rice Miss Looms Excellent Prospect for Oaks on May 30; Beat Bubbley at Keeneland DELAWARE PARK, Stanton, Del.. May 19. — Mrs. Ada L. Rices topnotch three-year-old filly Cerise Reine, a nominee for th eDelaware Oaks and New Castel Handicap, is the first stakes horse to arrive at Delaware Park for the meeting which opens on May 29. Vanned in from New Jersey and bedded down yesterday evening, the Chicago-owned illy looms as a fine prospect for the Oaks, which has an estimated gross value of at least 0,000 including 0,000 added money. The Oaks, for three-year-old fillies at a mile and a furlong, will be renewed Memorial Day, May 30. The 00,000 added, mile and a quarter New Castle — worlds riches race for fillies and mares — comes up July 4. Cerise Reine and a juvenile stablemate, Master Eddie, arrived in charge of the fillys exercise rider, Pet Jensen, and groom, Joe Holden. Trainer Howard Hoffman is expected here shortly to supervise their schedules. Well recommended by her winter and spring races, Cerise Reine was twice a winner at Hialeah before running fourth in the Flamingo Stakes. She then proceeded to Kentucky. She then ran third to Task Fleet and Bubbley in an allowance test, led Bubbley home in the Ashland Stakes, and followed with a second to Bubbley in the Kentucky Oaks. Bubbley, a Calumet Farm ace, also is a Delaware Oaks probable. Sequence of Specials The arrangement of Delaware Parks stakes on the calendar is of great interest to owners and trainers with fillies and mares, since it gives them a chance at the following sequence of rich stakes, approximately spaced at various tracks: May 30 — 0,000 Delaware Oaks, one and one-eighth miles, Delaware Park three-year-olds . June 6 — 0,000 Coaching Club American Oaks, one and three-eighths miles, Belmont Park three-year-olds. June 17— 5,000 Top Flight, one and xone-sixteenth miles, Belmont Park three-year-olds and upward. June 24 — 5,000 Gazelle, one and one-sixteenth miles, Aqueduct three-year-olds. July 4 — 00,000 New Castle, one and one-quarter miles, Delaware Park three-year-olds and upward. In Florida each winter since 1950-51, Delawares racing secretary J. Gilbert Haus has talked with J. B.
