GO PASS, slow to gain best stride, came to the outside to dispose of RADIOLA midway the final furlong and gradually drew clear when fully extended. RADIOLA sprinted into a. commanding early lead, drifted out while tiring badly during the stretch run and was unable to withstand the winner. AREEVA rallied t late to seriously endanaer the top ones. SEA DEFENSE showed good speed throughout, but lacked the necessary rally. PROCEED, much used early, had little left. REPOSE was outrun. ESCARP quit. COUP-DE-VITE was unable to be persevered with during the late part of the journey when his left stirrup iron broke. TROUT BROOK never was dangerous. FAIRY ACE trailed throughout. The latter, slow to gain best stride, came to the middle of the track for the drive, lugged in slightly when punished and was unable to overtake the leader. SOME LORD raced evenly through the late stages without apparent mishap. SHY BIM was through after five furlongs. SEA BOB was unable to keep up.
