GO PASS, slow to gain best stride, came to the outside to dispose of RADIOLA midway the final furlong and gradually drew clear when fully extended. RADIOLA sprinted into a. commanding early lead, drifted out while tiring badly during the stretch run and was unable to withstand the winner. AREEVA rallied t late to seriously endanaer the top ones. Won driving; second and third the same. -MAILING LIST was unhurried when outrun early, moved into closer contention on the final turn, assumed a clear lead after completing the final jump and continued on gamely, .although his rider lost his right iron; REWING, permitted to settle into best stride, came fast when set down for the drive, but was unable to seriously endanger the top one. SEA DEFENSE showed good speed throughout, but lacked the necessary rally. PROCEED, much used early, had little left. REPOSE was outrun. ESCARP quit. COUP-DE-VITE was unable to be persevered with during the late part of the journey when his left stirrup iron broke. TROUT BROOK never was dangerous. FAIRY ACE trailed throughout. WHISKEY SOUR held a clear lead when settled for the stretch run and though tiring during the concluding strides, had enough left to outgame JAW SESSION. The latter, slow to gain best stride, came to the middle of the track for the drive, lugged in slightly when punished and was unable to overtake the leader. SOME LORD raced evenly through the late stages without apparent mishap. SHY BIM was through after five furlongs. SEA BOB was unable to keep up. The latter, forced to take up slightly when in close quarters the half-mile marker, closed with good energy when clear and easily bested the others. PRECESSION -oved his position on the outside to gain closer contention entering the stretch, then weakened. ROYAL TLE drifted out on the near turn, then was unable to become an endangering factor when placed to sure. FANELIS ALLEY quit. WAR PIPER forged between horses to attain ght lead soon after t hestart, repelled repeated early challenges from MENEMSHA, then held on tenaciously eafter in a sharp effort.
