Reynolds Brothers to Stable Horses at Ranch This Winter WEATHERFORD, Texas, Aug. 18. Reynolds Brothers racing division will rest this winter in new quarters. Heretofore, the Reynolds string has stabled either at Hot Springs or at one of the Fort Worth training courses. This year, however, with all the acreage at the Reynolds thoroughbred nursery on the Brazos River near here available, it was decided to construct enough stalls to house the members of the racing group and also care for the yearlings, soon to be taken up. In addition, when head trainer Clyde Locklear comes from New England, he will take over the two colts, yearlings, which were acquired by Watt Reynolds in England this year. They are named Rush and Tear II. and Czarose II., and both are by Czadas, a son of Bahram. In addition to the new shelters, Wayne Locklear, Reynolds farm manager, will rough out a training track. With all the miles available along the river banks, the Reynolds youngsters should be well "legged up" when they reach the racing centers in 1954.
