Bulnes Is Standing at Stud Farm Just Outside Owensboro DADE PARK, Henderson, Ky., Aug. 18. There .are many stallions standing in this area, especially around. Owensboro, and one of the newest is the Chilean-bred Bulnes, imported to this country several years ago by L. L. Chambers, well-known Memphis, Tenn., owner and breeder. The 11-year-old son of Copete Sans Gene, the latter by the famous Congreve, is now the property of Vollie Penrod, and is attending court at his farm, just outside. Owensboro. According to Penrod, Bulnes was bred to only four mares his first season and all of them foaled. Th?ee are colts. This season, the Chilean was bred to seven mare and all of them are reported as being in foal. Penrod has already received 15 bookings for the 1954 season and some of the matrons expected to visit Bulnes next spring are to come from the Chambers farm in Tennessee.
