The latter, permitted to settle into best stride, moved from the ouside at the head of the srtetch, then flattened cut in the late stretch. KNIGHT-AT-ARMS made a bid entering the stretch, then faltered. GYPSUM never was a factor. HLAF BAR tired. NORTH CLARK gave way badly on the final turn. Scratched 97887 Eternal Glow, 103. EBONY MAGIC opened a clear lead on the backstretch, duelled with WATTY through the entire stretch, just getting the nod at the wire. The latter raced in closest attendance, moving from the outside on the turns, raced as a team with EBONY MAGIC and just missed. J0FIELD raced evenly. SNOW DOWN was never a serious contender.
