Takes Option on Facetious FORT WORTH, Texas, Aug. 17. Bud Burmester, who has been dabbling in British thoroughbreds in recent weeks, recently took an option on the four-year-old mare Facetious, by Pandemonium, out of Vulnerable, and will bring this gray mare, standing over 16 hands, to the states, if plans materialize. "This mare is bred for speed, Pandemonium being by Panorama, out of a Roi Herode mare, and Vulnerable tracing back to Tetratema," commented Burmester, who also is interested in yearlings by Fairey Fulmar, by Fair Trial. "The one I like best is a chestnut filly, by Admirals Walk, a son of Hyperion," he added.
