i Daddys Dog Makes Good In Dade Park Offering Bielen Has War Dog Youngster Clear of Lalla Rookh at Wire DADE PARK, Henderson, Ky Aug. 18. After placing second in her only two starts at this track, Daddys Dog, represeentative of the partnership of A. Moore and J. Ren-eau, finally found a field of non-winners that she could handle. The "War Dog miss hung it on Walter Hills Lalla Rookh, Hel-forhay, from the L. S. Smith Stable, and five others in the five-eighths of a mile third race, one of the better offerings here this afternoon. iWhile Helforhay, Lalla Rookh and Princess Seven were making the early pace, Stanley Bielen, entrusted with the mount on the successful one, was content to remain in fourth position until they reached the head of the stretch. After Princess Seven dropped back at the head of the stretch Bielen took his mount to the extreme outside of the leaders and quickly drawing away won by a length and a half. Lalla Rookh was a like distance before Helforhay, while the latter outdistanced the weakening Princess Seven by nearly half a dozen lengths. You Say, Sleepy Joe, Jett Oil and Jam Cake were the only other starters and followed in that order. Jam Cake was close up with the leaders during the early running, but was eased suddenly entering thes tretch, when caught in close quarters. Daddys Dog was an odds-on favorite, returning .40. Racing to expectations Mrs. Milton Rinkes Forest Belle, a daughter of Okapi, easily won the first race, hanging it on Speed Jet by seven lengths. Englands Jr. was third. After overcoming some interference at the start, the Rinke miss was sent around the leaders on the far turn by apprentice J. Clifton and after straightening out for the drive the youngster kept after his mount and as a result won by her wide margin. Minnich, under the guidance of H. Hol-comb, had to stand a long drive to stall off the rush of Sugar Briar uv the second and those who coupled the winner with Forest Belle received a Daily Double pay-off of 2.40. Deloplay, a "field" horse, was lapped on the first two at the end of the six-furlongs dash. The latter may have been closer had it not attempted to bear in during the stretch run.
