Royal Serenade Trip Off . DEL MAR, Calif., Aug. 18. Max Bell, one of the four partners in Alberta Ranches, reported here this afternoon that the Hollywood Gold Cup winner, Royal Serenade, who faltered badly and finished fourth in last Saturdays San Diego Handicap, has a definite injury in the left hind leg it might be suspensory trouble and that the eastern trip planned for the horse is definitely off. Motion pictures of the race showed Longden acted sensibly wher. he did not punish Royal Serenade last week end as the son of Royal Charger was palpably in distress.
