RED DESIGN broke alertly, remained in close attendance of the pace on the extreme outside, responded to steady pressure in the stretch and out-finished JAMES B. The latter, forwardly placed from the start, was in close quarters through the stretch. BOLO MACK forced the pace, was bothered slightly as the leaders came together in the stretch and weakened. GAME LADY set the pace under steady urging, came out slightly under pressure in the drive and faltered. DESCENTIVE saved ground to no avail. CONCENTRATE was unable to menace with a late rally along the inside. The others were never prominent. The latter closed willingly while racing wide throughout. REIGHSIGN worked his way up between horses and closed with good energy. MUSICAL LADY established the pace to the final furlong before weakening. SEVEN PILLARS closed stoutly from off the pace. FIGHTING HOME went evenly. BOBS PAL weakened after forcing the pace. LORD LOUIS outran the field to gain a slight advantage early, was placed under steadying restraint until the final quarter mile, rallied when sent through along the inside, but was not good enough. CRACKICE was forced to lose ground while challenging on the outside. TRIPLE F. passed tiring horses with a late rush. U ASKED FORIT challenged mildly after five furlongs and weakened. The latter, close to the pace under stout restraint, moved clear when roused, shortened stride and just missed. AILEENS PRIDE, devoid of early speed, rallied mildly when roused in the stretch. SIGNARGIRL closed stoutly from off the1 pace. FIGHTING THRU opened a clear lead at once, gave way before three furlongs, remained in contention to the final furlong arid flattened out. DOMINAVE broke alertly and was sent to the front at once, shook off the bid of SEAFLASH before three furlongs, skirted the inner rail while turning back the challenge of VALPAM and continued on gamely to outfinish CELANDINE. The latter, reserved until the final quarter mile, rallied when sent up on the outside and was catching the winner. VALPAM weakened dightly under stout urging. SINN FEIN had no mishap. RUTH HANSON was going stoutly at the end. LEGATE went evenly. SEAFLASH flattened out. SEA ADMIRAL flashed brief speed. ARTHUR S., taken back off the pace and placed under stout restraint until the final quarter mile, closed with good energy. SWITCH ON, a forward factor along the inside, faltered in the drive.
