V Six Horses Fall in Spill At Lincoln, Nebr., Track LINCOLN, Nebr., Aug. 29. The worst mishap in the history of racing in this area struck in the first race of the final day of racing at this track. Ferinstance had attained the lead while racing along the inside, then while racing in front in the clear he fell. The field was well bunched and the five horses just behind him went down in a tangle. Karen Greenock and Enlisted Man, who had begun a move on the outside of Ferinstance, -missed the accident narrowly and went on to finish the race in that order. Jeff McCoy, Carle Athey, Ralph Lil-burn and Jose Provencio were rushed to the hospital to determine the extent of their injuries. Wayne Chambers and Charles Guinup returned to the jockeys room to ride out their afternoons engagements.
