Schedule Overnight Handicaps THISTLEDOWN, Warrensville, Ohio, Aug. 29. In addition to 0,000 in stakes to be offered during the coming Thistle-Down meeting, racing secretary Fred Burton has scheduled at least four overnight handicaps with a value of ,000 each. The four include the Forest City, a mile and sixteenth test for three-year-olds and on September 19, the Powder Puff, a six-furlong dash for fillies and mares on October 7, and the Faithful, for three-year-olds and upward at one mile and a sixteenth on October 31. The Powder Puff is a prep for the Imp Stakes and the Faithful is limited to horses registered with the ThistleDown Jockey Club prior to October 1. The quartet of ,000 handicaps is rounded out by the fifth and last in the Ohio Presidents Series on October 28.
