VERNA LEE was hard pressed for the early lead, drew clear on the turn and lasted over MY RETORT. The latter was a factor from the start, just failed to wear down the top one and came back a bit sore. POSTURE moved well to the stretch and weakened. FLORIDA FLASH was a factor throughout, but failed to stay. PEANUTS MAN was never a factor. S0AKIN- WET broke badly and showed nothing.
