Ventnor Closes on Monday ATLANTIC CITY, Mays-Landing, N. J., Aug. 29. Nominations for the 0,000 added Ventnor Handicap close Monday, August 31. The Ventnor, a turf course event for three-year-olds exclusively, will be run Saturday, September 19. The two previous runnings of the Ventnor were captured by Cain Hoy Stables Armageddon last year and Mrs. Ellsworth H. Augustus Euclid in 1951.
