License for New Orleans Harness Meeting Granted . NEW ORLEANS, La., Aug. 29. A license for dates to conduct a 66-day night harness racing meet in Jefferson Parish near here was granted Friday night at a special meeting of the Louisiana State Racing Commission. The new venture will inaugurate its meeting March 15. Magnolia Park, Inc., is the name of the new racing association, which will construct a new track and grandstand on the Airline Highway about 10 miles from the city. Wallace MacCory of Miami is executive vice-president and general manager. The Magnolia Park, Inc., board comprises MacCory, George Barrie, Sidney Puller and George Shapiro, all oT Miami" Beach, Fla.; Frederick Gearhart, New York City, Theodore Weinberg, Chicago, HI., and Felix Bonura, T. J. Fei-bleman and J. Richard Reuter, Jr., all of New Orleans.
