Mixed Sale of 74 Head To Be Held at Pomona POMONA, Calif., June 19. — First important thoroughbred sale of the summer season will be presented, appropriately enough, on the longest day of the year, Monday, here at the Los Angeles county Fair Grounds. Conducted by the Fasig-Tipton Co. in conjunction with the California Thoroughbred Breeders Association, the auction will dispose of 74 head of race horses, broodmares, stallions and yearlings. The sale will get under way promptly at-2:30 p. m. with Announcer Humphrey S. Finney and auctioneers George Swinebroad and Kenney Porter handling the bids. | Among the 15 consignors to the vendue are Mrs. Thelma Sneed, who will stage a complete dispersal of all of her racing and , breeding stock; the Alberta Ranches ltd., I J. W. Billotte,~Mrs.~Nellie Day Craig, Andrew J. Crevclin, Edenvale Farm of Mrs. John Payson Adams, Elobee Farm of Col. L. G. Burns, Harry S. Hart, Charles T. Leavitt, Owl Stable, T. Lydell Fuckett, Betty Porter, G. T. Platahia and James Sullivan.
