Irving Gushen, HBPA National President, Visits ThistleDown THISTLEDOWN, North Randall, Ohio, June 19. — Irving Gushen, national president of the HBPA, paid a visit to ThistleDown this afternoon and will depart for River Downs on Sunday. Gushens visit here was strictly as a courtesy call to the local division of the Horsemens organization. He did not take any part in meetings held between the HBPA here in the Cleveland area with the ThistleDown and Randall Park managements.
