New Jersey Notes MONMOUTH PARK, Oceanport, N. J., June 19. A. F. East, with 20 horses at Monmouth Park and 10 at Delaware Park, works an early shift conditioning his string here and then makes a fast trip to Delaware to train the remainder of his stable. Monmouth Parks racing strip has never been in better condition than for the current meeting and the establishing of three new track records in the first four days of action attests its speed. Master Ace set a new mark of 1:09 for six furlongs; Bold Command lowered the five-furlong mark to :58% and First Aid ran a mile and an eighth in 1:49 to set a new standard. W. C. Partees Winning Count, victorious in Tuesdays feature, is being pointed by trainer Johnny McDowell for the Lamplighter Handicap and the Choice Stakes later in the meeting. Winning Count was purchased for 5,000 by Partee, a newcomer to racing. Apprentice Roger LeBlanc believes lightning can strike twice in the same place. Opening day at Monmouth, LeBlanc finished second in the fourth race with Bis -cayne Bay and was moved to first by a disqualification. Second day at Monmouth, LeBlanc finished second in the fourth race with Laurel Springs and was moved to first by a disqualification. Jimmy Stout, seeking his fifth Monmouth Park riding championship, is going at a clip better than a win a day, having scored seven times in the first six days.
