: j Three Arlington Stakes Close for Nominations ARLINGTON PARK, Arlington Heights., ill., June 25. Racing: secretary Frederick G. "Pat" Farrell reminded horsemen of the Saturday midnight deadline for nominations fo three Arlington Park stakes. They are the Hyde Park Stakes, the Modesty Handicap and the Laurance Armour Memorial Handicap. The Hyde Park, 0,000 added sprint for two-year-olds, will be ran Saturday, June 10. Distance of the race will be five and one-half furlongs. The Modesty is a 20,000 added event for fillies and mares, three-year-olds and upward. Distance of the race will be six furlongs, and it will be run Saturday, July 10. The Laurance Armour, 5,000 added mile and one-eighth handicap for three-year-olds and upward, will be decided Monday, July 12. Farrell said nominations will be accepted in the racing secretarys office at Arlington, and in the morning at the I secretarys office at Hawthorne.
